Cofounders Andrea and Michael began their journey with hemp in 2019. After discovering the health benefits of hemp for themselves, they felt it needed to be shared. November 2019, cofounders, risked everything they had to open the first boutique CBD retail store of its kind in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Creating a beautiful, anxiety free atmosphere and carefully curating the highest quality brands in the industry helped break the stigma of using cannabis.

In 2021 hemp derived Delta 8-THC edibles flooded the market. With the lack of oversight in the market, it was difficult to find trusted brands. Wikid Hemp was born to ensure quality.

In July 2022, Minnesota legalized hemp derived THC beverages and edibles. Popularity grew for THC beverages and were added to the retail store as fast as they entered the market. Consumers were excited for the new offerings, but disappointed in the flavors. Many saying they liked the effect, but didn't care for the flavor.

How could anyone expect consumers to give up their hard earned dollars on an expensive beverage if they had to plug their nose and choke it down?

In late 2023, cofounders began the development of Wikid Sparkling to create a beverage they could confidently recommend to consumers as enjoyable and repeatable.
